Advantages:
It is an ideal solution to insert soft metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and cast iron with screw sleeves. Some of the main benefits of using carbon steel solid threaded inserts (screw sleeves) include:
- Easy to install: Solid threaded inserts are installed with standard tools, only drills, taps and threads are required, just like any common fastener (no special taps or installation tools are required)
- Strength: Carbon steel solid threaded blades are screws processed from solid steel, which can obtain stronger overall performance.
- Standard thread: Solid thread insert (screw sleeve) for metal can use standard drill bits and taps.
- Self-locking: Pre-glue will be activated during installation.
- Anti-vibration: The adhesive holds the solid threaded carbon steel insert in place so that it does not shrink back.
- Seals for liquid/gas: Solid thread insertion pressure up to 6,000 psi.
- Installation:
Unlike the insertion of steel wire screws, a special faucet and installation tool is required, and in-saiL ® (thick wall) metal uses carbon steel inserts.
Insert metal installation using standard tools, installation is as simple as three steps.
- · It is only necessary to drill holes of appropriate size with standard drill bits
- · Tapping holes with standard faucets
- Turn the screw sleeve like ordinary fasteners and screws, bolts, and plug nuts.
In-saiL ® (thick wall) metal carbon steel inserts are self-locking, allowing newly installed insertion fasteners to be ready.
