Installation Process of Bolt Sleeve

1. Drilling: The drilling depth shall be greater than the length of bolt sleeve. Note that the size of the tapping drill is larger than the usual size.

2. Tapping thread: The specification of the tapped thread shall correspond to the specification of the external thread of the bolt screw sleeve.

3. Installation: Screw the bolt screw sleeve into the corresponding threaded hole and require the bolt screw sleeve to be lower than the surface of the workpiece.

4. Lock key: Press the bolt fixing key of the bolt screw sleeve into the bottom hole with appropriate tools.

The drilling and tapping are completely the same as the processing of common internal threads, and it is better to use special tools for screw-in installation to improve working efficiency.

Removal of bolt screw sleeve

If necessary, the bolt-type threaded sheath can be removed without damaging its base metal (i.e. The material of the part)

1, drill out part of that sheath,

2, that fix key is bent inward and broken,

3. Spin out the sheath with "easy-to-remove tools" or similar tools.
