DIN 7982 Flat head self-tapping plate screws

Metric DIN 7982C cross recessed flat countersunk head self-tapping sheet metal screws are designed to cut threads into pre-drilled untapped holes in the substrate into which threads are screwed. Recommended guide hole sizes vary.

Depends on the diameter of the screw used and the thickness of the substrate material. These screws are available in galvanized steel and stainless steel A2 and A4.

Recommended for thin sheet metal. Resin plywood. And composite materials. A flat head is ideal, with the head flush with the base when fully engaged.
