Why is there a minimum margin setting? Is the minimum margin from the hole center to the bending edge, or to the edge of the material? If my minimum margin is not enough, what hidden dangers will there be?
The minimum margin is the distance from the circular edge of the hole to the edge of the workpiece.
If the hole is too close to the edge of the plate, it means that the thin plate at the edge is not strong enough. After the rivet nut is installed, the following may happen:
The edge of the thin plate is squeezed and bulged and deformed; the nut is not installed firmly and is easy to fall off.
